Last year’s twenty one Berkeley International House Scholars have come and gone, having new friendships, taking home great memories, and leaving their hosts with great memories, too. The scholars were from 9 countries: Chile, China, Cyprus, India, Italy, Korea, Germany, the Netherlands, and Vietnam.
Good weather contributed to a successful visit by a delightful group of foreign scholars. The scholars enjoyed a schedule much like the one planned for their visit, except that our long string of successful skiing trips was broken by the lack of snow. Scholars enjoyed the alternate day’s events. We have scheduled the same events as a backup in case of a repeat problem with the snow.
