Scholarship applicants need to download and complete the Academic Scholarship Application (linked below) and submit their complete application with attachments via email to the Rotary Club of Redding (scholarships@reddingrotary.org) by the application deadline. Only complete applications will be accepted.
The application period for 2024 Academic Scholarships is now open.
Applicants selected to move forward with the application process will be invited to participate in an interview with their Rotary Scholarship Committee for their school during the month of March (contact your school counselor for the exact interview date).
Applicants that are awarded scholarships will be notified to attend a Rotary Club of Redding luncheon with their parent(s) and/or guardian(s) on April 24th to receive their award and be recognized by the club.
Scholarship payments are made after the winning applicant has begun their fall semester (2024 – 2025 school year) and they have submitted the required Criteria Documents to process their payment. Scholarship payments are made directly to the educational institution the applicant enrolls in for the fall semester (following their award announcement) to pay for tuition costs.
What is a complete application? Complete applications should have answered all the questions in the application form. Answers should be typed into the electronic application form, attachments added where needed, and all files saved in pdf formats (jpeg or gif files will be accepted only when the pdf file format is not available to the applicant).
How do I submit an application? Completed applications should be submitted electronically via e-mail to scholarships@reddingrotary.org by Wednesday, March 15, 2024.
Who do I contact to answer my questions? School counselors at the participating schools are familiar with this scholarship and are available to help their students throughout the application process. Students should contact their school counselor for assistance (see the list below).
